Three really good examples. Thanks for putting them together.

If I could suggest another starting point, it’s return on investment modelling.

Some omnichannel ideas will be expensive to implement and seem to provide a novelty value more than true business value. For instance could the “smart hanger” showing Facebook likes have been as successful with a sticker or printer POS item added each day with the current number of likes? Not as flash but much cheaper and faster to execute.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the experimentation, creativity and blending of store and online, but I think some retailers will struggle to justify the investment.
