Is there a way to measure the success of 2 different trade magazines pointing to the same landing page. If we want to differentiate how many visits came to our landing page from Magazine A compared to Magazine B, can we do that from the Google Tag Builder. I have given this much thought and I can only think of creating two distinguishable tracking URLs, shortening them with bit.lys of course since printing long UTM URLs won’t look good in a magazine and will be hard to remember, and getting them printed on the two magazines. The downside to this is that bit.lys do not look credible and neat on trade magazines either. I’d rather have a friendly URL. How can I measure the success of two different magazines but in a more civilised way?
